Our Vehicles
We utilise a wide range of vehicles, depending on the nature of the service, the client’s preference and the operational location, as not all vehicles types are available in every city.
The vehicles we operate can generally be classified into the following main categories and shown against each is an example of such a vehicle and a brief summary of its optimum application.
Availability
There are some regional variations as to which vehicles types are typically operated in a given category.
Sedans
Throughout the world and almost without exception in Europe, chauffeur drive companies generally operate the Mercedes E-Class and S-Class in their sedan fleets.
In the USA, the Lincoln Towncar is operated as both a standard and a luxury sedan depending on the vehicle’s specification, age and the nature of the operator.
In other parts of the world, locally manufactured vehicles may also be operated such as the Lexus or Toyota in the Far East or the Holden in Australasia but it is rare that Mercedes vehicles cannot be found in a given location, hence there is considerable consistency in sedan fleets throughout the world.
MPVs/People Carriers
Unlike the sedan category, there are a broader range of makes and models operated in this category, including the Mercedes V-Class and Viano, Chrysler Grand Voyager, VW Caravelle, Opel Vivaro and Ford Galaxy.
Many manufacturers now produce a vehicle of this type and they vary hugely in their configuration and accommodation. Therefore, if an MPV is likely to be used to capacity rather than to make use of a particular seating configuration or provide extra space, we recommend that you discuss your requirements with your Project Coordinator.
